Sophie La Gourmande, self-described as a “neighborhood patisserie,” opened in Cleveland Heights’ Cedar-Lee district in 2022 as a place to get a savory light meal or a sweet snack. That could mean an artfully prepared, healthy breakfast or lunch such as a sandwich, soup, quiche, lentil salad or chicken salad croissant, all made from scratch. Or drop in and grab something to satisfy your sweet tooth, perhaps an almond croissant, a coconut macaroon or a sourdough rye chocolate chip cookie. Any of that can be complimented by a steaming cup of artisanal coffee.
Keep in mind that they are only open Wednesday through Saturday, 9am-4pm.
