The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is offering a fun way to learn more about native plants, with their first installment of Native Plant Bingo. There’ll be eight rounds with chances to win a native plant from Meadow City native plant nursery. Plants will be available for purchase as well, and presumably one of their experts will be in hand to tell you what will grow well in your own garden. (Their space in North Collinwood has plants grouped by sun/shade and wet/dry. To make things even more fun. Beer sponsor Midnight Owl will be pouring samples. It’s $10 for eight rounds; sign up here.
