House Performance Benefits This Summer’s BorderLight Theater Festival

Thu 3/20 @ 6:30-9:30PM

When Cleveland’s BorderLight Festival takes the stage (actually, multiple stages) at Playhouse Square July 16-19, it will be going into its sixth year (it skipped 2020, no explanation needed) of presenting performances by a staggering wide diversity of artists in an equally staggering array of types, themes and presentation styles. In the past it’s offered standard theater and interactive events, dance, music, circus performances, poetry, spoken word, storytelling, acrobatics, a film installation, and various combinations of disciplines. In 2021, it was all virtual (again, no explanation needed). Many of the performances deal with serious personal and social, while others are pure fun.

Contribute to making this year’s festival even bigger and better by supporting its upcoming fundraiser a performance called I Wear My Dead Sister’s Clothes, described as “a gripping and evocative performance that delves into themes of love, loss, and identity.” Guests will be able to see the performance, meet the artists and get to know more about what’s in store in July. It takes place in a Cleveland Heights home; the address will be given to ticket buyers. For tickers and more info go to eventcreate.com/e/clothes.
