Installation Debuts at Waterloo Arts Café During Walk All Over Waterloo

Fri 2/7 @ 6-9PM

Who knows what the weather will be like when it’s time for Walk All over Waterloo? Right now they’re saying it’ll be cold but not extremely cold, and dry. Luckily, if you head up to the Waterloo Arts District for its monthly first Friday art walk, you’ll find plenty to keep you indoors.

You’ll definitely want to check out Linda Post’s installation Untitled (Waterloo), opening in the Waterloo Arts Café space, “a site of potential.” She’ll be inviting viewers to envision what it could be “by being present in an overlapping of time and place facilitated by media and technology.” You can tell Post has been to art school — she’s fluent in art jargon! In fact, she went to Bard College and Massachusetts College of Art; she’s exhibited around the country and in Europe. She currently teaches at the Cleveland Institute of Art. The show opens on Friday February 7 @ 5-9pm. Post will be doing an artist talk at 7:30pm.

Her installation will be on view through February 28.
