Tri-C East Gallery Hosts Photoshow Focusing on Pollinators

Bees, Bugs and Butterflies: How Pollinators Help the Cuyahoga Region Bloom is a traveling show that has been supported by such nature-centric local organizations as the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes and Cuyahoga Valley National Park, part of a series to raise awareness about the environmental issues surrounding the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie watersheds. It will be touching down at the Tri-C East gallery , starting Thursday January 16 when it opens with a reception from 4-7pm

The exhibit features the work of six nature photographers, who capture the region’s pollinators such as bees, butterflies, wasps and mosquitoes: Jerry Cannon, Denny Reiser, Danae Wolfe, Anthony Rodgers, Jim Roetzel and Jeff Gibson.  Most have worked with area nature-related organizations, such as the Ohio Nature Conservancy, Summit Metro Parks, Cleveland Metro Parks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park,

The show also features includes multimedia programs such as talks, hikes, workshops, film and more, for both students and the public. It will be on view Monday through Thursday from 10:30am-3:30pm, through February 13.
