Sat 1/11 & Sun 2/23 @ 11:30AM-3PM

Come on — are you afraid of a little cold? Bundle up and head out to Holden Arboretum in Kirtland for a guided hike that will show you that nature has plenty to show you even in the middle of winter.

This two-mile hike, which will take you over rugged, muddy terrain, and possible ice, snow and standing water, will show you what the outdoors looks like when everything isn’t leafy and green and you can see the landscape’s bones. You’ll be able to see rock formations, rocky outcrops and the shape of the land, as well as winter plant life. Sturdy shoes or boots and warm clothes are a must!!

The hike is appropriate for adults and children over 12 accompanied by an adult. Meet at the visitor center to carpool to the trailhead. Go here to register.
