Lyrical Rhythms Poetry Open Mic and Jam Celebrates 20th Year with a Party

Tue 4/16 @ 6PM

Lyrical Rhythms, the weekly poetry open mic and jam at the B-Side Lounge in Cleveland Heights, has been a regular feature on its Tuesday night schedule for a long time — 20 years to be exact, an incredible length of time for an open mic/jam night.

That calls for a celebration, so there’s going to be one this week, not only at the B-Side but upstairs at its partner concert club, the Grog Shop.

Doors open at 6pm with a BLK Crpet Meet and Greet at the Grog, followed by a “2 Drinks & a Joke” comedy special with host Ant Morrow (pictured). At 8pm “A Night at the Kamakazi” with Doe featuring Liberty takes over the stage. Then at 10 pm all the action moves downstairs to the B-Side when T.Marie with AJ Tyis and the House Band start their set. But the partying at the B-Side started at 6 with the Shop & Sip Experience from 6-9pm followed Inside the Vibe DJ set.  There’ll be “surprise guests” throughout the night. Want to keep on celebrating? An open mic and after-party chill go on at the B-Side until ?
