Orchids Bring Sunrise & Sunset Colors at Cleveland Botanical Garden

Sun 1/27-Sun 3/17

You know spring is somewhere over the horizon when the Cleveland Botanical Garden hosts its annual orchid show.

This year’s show is called Orchids Forever: Golden Hour and, they tell us, it “will highlight the serene feeling of sunrise and sunset.”  Species like Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, and Oncidium, sporting a riot of colors such as pink, purple, orange and yellow, will reflect the colors typically seen at daybreak and day’s end.  Orchids will on view throughout the indoor gardens and glasshouses, giving you plenty of things to stand in front to take selfies. Be careful the orchids don’t upstage you though!

There will also be special educational events such as Ask an Orchid Doctor, Orchid Repotting for Beginners and Behinf-the-Scenes Orchid Photography taking place during the event’s run. Get a schedule here.

Orchids Forever is included in regular admission. The Cleveland Botanical Garden is open Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Mondays.
