Director Debbie Apple-Presser shows CoolCleveland around Planet Joy, an art studio that works with the behaviorally different to create art work that engages the community. View the video here.
They create, exhibit and sell the art work at cafés, bookstores and arts festivals, and the work allows adults with developmental differences to express themselves and improve their skills in an innovative environment.
Watch for their work at Spokes Cafés in Medina, Appletree Books in Cleveland Heights, and the Medina County Art League Art in the Park on July 16.
