Since the city has such a large Ukrainian population, of course Parma has several Ukrainian Catholic Churches. So be sure to go t the right one when the Pokrava Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on Broadview Road celebrates its three-day Ukrainian Festival this weekend.
Naturally, there’ll be ethnic food and drink, along with a Ukrainian Bazaar, sports contests, live entertainment and a kids’ corner. It’s a good time to learn about the distinctive culture that Ukraine is so passionately defending from the Russians and maybe even learn how you can help the people over there.
Admission and parking are both free.
