After two years missing in action, Larchmere Porchfest returned to the post-pandemic calendar last year for its 12thiteration — and now it’s back for lucky 13.

The distinctive festival offers a huge variety of musical acts performing on porches and lawns along the residential streets fanning out from Larchmere Boulevard, as listeners camp out on blankets or folding chairs. It’s always been one of the most musically diverse festivals, with everything from reggae to blues to hip hop to jazz to soul to country to various forms of rock — and even klezmer and classical music. Find the full schedule here and map out a plan. (They recommend a bike to get around.)

Music on the porches lasts until just before 6 when everything converges on a single stage for the headliners on side-by-side East 126th Street stages. Veteran NE Ohio reggae band Jah Messengers play at 6, with high-energy soul rockers Apostle Jones at 7.

There are after parties too with music continuing at Larchmere restaurants Poppy, Batuqui and the Academy Tavern. The festival is admission-free.

Don’t worry — there’ll be plenty of fuel with Larchmere’s many restaurants and bars, as well as vendors and a food court set up just for this event.
