For nearly 40 years — 39 to be exact — Valley Art Center has been organizing Art by the Falls, a giant fine art and crafts festival in downtown Chagrin Falls in Riverside Park.
There strollers will encounter more than 130 artists from across the country and close to home, including painters, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists and jewelry makers. There’s also food and live music, an art raffle, a community art project, and the chance to meet artists and even see some of them demonstrate their work.
The 2023 community art project focus on recycling and sustainability with a woven work of art being made from plastic bags. It will be displayed at the Valley Art Center after the festival.
