Cleveland’s Little Italy is a charming neighborhood in any season, but it’s especially lovely during the holidays when a meal at one of its multitude of both traditional and contemporary restaurants or a drink in one of its many bars feels cozy and reassuring.
The neighborhood was also the first colonized by artists, and there are still many artist studios and shops there, as well as specialty shops offering everything from wine to Italian-made housewares to vintage finds to Italian pride kitsch. And the three-day Little Italy Holiday Art Walk is a great time to explore them. Start almost anywhere in the neighborhood and pick up an art walk map at one of the businesses that line Mayfield and Murray Hill roads. Leave time for dinner because the aromas drifting out of the eateries is going to be very tempting!
