Gordon Square’s Artful Living Re-Opens with a Beach Party

Fri 8/19 @ 4-8PM

The Artful Living lifestyle boutique in Gordon Square has been closed for the last two-plus years — you know, that pandemic thing. But now, owner Karen Masters has announced its reopening with what she describes as “an expanded mission.”

She’ll celebrate with an event on National Beach Day, Friday August 19, saying, “Because we’re within walking distance to our beach, we’ve embraced the natural, relaxed beachy lifestyle. At Artful Living we’ve filled our space with positive thinking and a joy of living. We select products to create a relaxing environment in your own home, so that you can recharge and maintain a life balance between work, family, and recreation.”

Her space features work by more than 100 local and national artists arranged in a casual beach-house environment. It also offers classes in self-care, plein art painting, yoga, journaling and other self-improvement activities.

Featured artist for the reopening is Cleveland’s Bruno Casiano; there’ll be live music from the Pompous Ass Bad and refreshments from Luscious. Look for the aqua house behind Near West Theatre. The event is free and open to all.
