For the second year, Countryside Market’s Old Trail Farm at Cuyahoga Valley National Park is hosting an afternoon benefit called “Bubbles and Bouquets.”
Although champagne is one of the centerpieces of the events — the other is creating bouquets from flowers grown on the farm and picked fresh right before the event. In addition, guests can take a tour of the farm to see the work the farm team is doing.
Each $50 ticket gets you on bouquet, a glass of bubbly and appetizers; additional cocktails are available for $5 each. And because it is a family-friendly event, with $10 kids’ tickets, non-alcoholic beverages are also available. It’s an open-house style event so you can come and go on your own schedule.
All proceeds will benefit the farm interns of the , which is dedicated to raining the next generation of farmers in sustainable agriculture, a critical mission in a field whose practitioners are aging.
