Love cars? Remember the days when young men (mostly) gathered in the parking lot of a shopping mall after hours on Saturday, lifted their hoods and hung out accepting compliments on how well they kept up their ride? You may want to cruise out to Mentor-on-the-Lake for Roar by the Shore Mentor, its seventh annual Cruise-In.
If you have a car you’d like to show off, just show up at Mentor Beach Park. It’ll be just like the old days (especially if you still have that car from the 70s and babied it all these years.) All registration is done on the day of the event at their registration tent; fee is $10. If you’re just there to look, ooh and aah, that’s free. There’ll also be vendors and DJ music.
