Fri 10/8 @ 5-10PM
Take advantage of some of the last nice weather of autumn to Walkabout Tremont. The neighborhood will be jumping with street activity including pop-up vendors, street performers, live music from Baker’s Basement and one-man band Reverbious and the Gaelic Glen Alpacas.
Inside you’ll find food and drink specials at the local eateries and drinkeries, which are many. And there’ll be art at various establishments.
It’s a last chance to see The Weight of Time at the Kaiser Gallery, featuring six artists reflecting on the impact of the COVID pandemic (and grab a drink at the gallery cum cocktail lounge).
And it’s the first opportunity to celebrate the three-year anniversary of Barbara Merritt’s 818 Studios, which opens a show featuring three works by 19 area artists: David Louis Cintron, Hadley Conner, Rebecca Yody, Liz Maugans, Douglas Max Utter, Joan of Art, Anthony Van Rooy, Patty Flauto, June Hund, Doug Hamann, Barbara Merritt, Bryon Miller, Dan Miller, Shawn Mishak, Randy Norfus, Scott Pickering, John Sail, Jordan Satterfield and Samantha Vickers. They’ll have light refreshments and music by Hovaround.
