Natural History Museum’s “Owls & Howls” Offers a Day of Special Activities

Sat 10/30 @ 10AM

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is giving kids (and their families) the opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a decidedly non-spooky way that pays tribute to nature.

At Owls & Howls, you can come dressed up to take a photo at the autumn-themed photo booth, craft your own skeleton with Christine Bailey, CMNH’s Collections Manger of Physical Anthopology, create a dinosaur mask, or join the animal ambassadors for a encounter with the resident wildlife. Teen interns will be on hand in the Perkins Wildlife Center to create ethograms cataloguing animal behavior and there’ll be a mini-pumpkin scavenger hunt in the Smith Environmental Courtyard, weather permitting.

It’s all free with general admission.
