You really don’t want to miss autumn in northeast Ohio because we’ve got a long winter ahead. It’s a great time to drive out in the country to check out the fall colors, and maybe enjoy some seasonal treats.

And luckily, Hale Farm and Village’s Harvest Days are back live and in person, offering the perfect destination for that drive. There you can stroll among the historically recreated buildings to see the demos of the traditional crafts such as blacksmithing, glassblowing, pottery-making and spinning, get a look at farm animals, see apple butter being made, and cider being pressed, enjoy a fall nature hunt, or just amble through the heritage gardens.

Café 1810 will be serving seasonal foods, apple cider, beer & wine and more, and the MarketPlace will be open for shopping for glass pumpkins and other handmade crafts. In addition, there’ll be live music on the grounds, provided on both Saturdays by small ensembles from the Akron Symphony Orchestra.

Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids 3-12, and pre-reservations for timed entry tickets are required. Everyone under 10 must wear a mask, and people are asked to socially distance from those not in their own group. Go here to reserve your tickets.
