Cleveland’s Red Light Roxy delivers a double punch. Its impeccable 40s/50s-style swing/jump blues/pop is performed by some of the area’s top jazz musicians, backing vocalist Eileen Burns — a feast for the ears. But its infectious sound also fills dance floors everywhere it plays with a setlist of classics and standards form the Great American Songbook, popularized by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and Nat “King”Cole.
If things were normal, it would have been doing that all over northeast Ohio including this Friday as part of the Lakewood Public Library’s Front Porch series. Instead, you’ll have to dance on you patio or in your living room as they play the 2020 Front Porch Virtual Concert Series.
