Shortform at Maelstrom Brings Wild Visions of the Next 100 Years

Thu 2/27-Sat 2/29

Shortform with Maelstrom Collaborative Arts is back — getting to the point with tapas-style celebration of the arts, highlighting multiple disciplines and backgrounds. The weekend showcases nine local artists in their funny, absurd, experimental, and, above all, short forms — each act occurs in less than five minutes.

This show recalls images from Black Mirror and Room 104 and embodies the next 100 years, where the apocalypse arrives, technology runs amok, and hope lives through friendships with robots.

Shortform will take place Thu 2/27-Sat 2/29, with doors opening at 7pm and show starting at 7:30pm. Featured artists include Gabrielle Shipley, Hiatt Hernon, Jasmine Golphin, Kevin Latimer, Krystal Sierra, Malaz Elgemiabby,  Poppy Lyttle, Princess Jafar, and Susie Underwood. Tickets range from $10-$15.
