The final show in Folknet’s fall concert series features Kerry Patrick Clark, a veteran folksinger whom they compare to Livingston Taylor, sure to make him a hit with the acoustic folk crowd.
Once a member of the jaunty large folk group New Christy Minstrels, which cycled through dozens of members in its long existence, he now describes himself on his website as “a musical Norman Rockwell,” implying a bedrock simplicity and decency that focuses on ordinary folks and daily routines and finds the subtle meanings in those lives. Clark is also an Ohioan, hailing from the Toledo suburb of Maumee.
Tickets for the concert, which takes place at Lyndhurst’s Church of the Good Shepherd are $15, or $12 for Folknet members. Memberships are available at the door.
