Learn All About America’s National Bird at the Bald Eagle Fest at Mentor Marsh

Sun 5/5 @ noon-5PM

Curious to know more about America’s national bird, the bald eagle? You’re in luck — the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Bald Eagle Fest returns to the Carol H. Sweet Nature Center at the Mentor Marsh this weekend.

The family-oriented event includes both educational programs and fun activities — and there’s plenty of crossover between the two. There’ll be a live animal program, representatives from local conservation groups, a learn-to-bird program with Blackbrook Audubon, nature art & crafts vendors, and hikes to see an eagle nest, as well as eagle games and activities and face painting for the kids. There’ll be food available for purchase.

It’s all free, but to go on the hikes which take place at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30pm, you must pre-register here.
