University Hospitals’ Trudy Wiesenberger Gallery in University Circle is one of the area’s hidden art treasures. Though outsiders mostly don’t know of its existence, it’s shown some of the region’s top artists.
Case in point: the show of work by Rita Montlack called Woke, opening there this week. In the latest phase of her work, the noted area artist has been using her photography as the basis for building images digitally or with hand-colored overlays.
It opens with a free reception Thu 3/28 @ 5:30-8pm.
