Slow Roll Cleveland Launches Season Rolling Out from Wade Oval

Mon 5/6 @ 7PM

At last, the warm weather and leafy trees are reminding people that it’s time to wheel the bike out of the garage and go for a spin. That means it’s time for the Slow Roll Cleveland rides to start up again, encouraging people to kick off their week with a ride that not only gets those biking muscles moving, but also offers a chance to meet and socialize with new people and see more of the city on a comfortably paced tour led by experienced guides.

Each week throughout the season the meetup location changes, as does the section of the city cyclists ride through. The opening week ride starts at Wade Oval on the east side at the northern end of the park. Get there early when registration starts at 6pm and you can meet some people from the University Circle institutions that surround Wade Oval, who’ll be eager to share information about events and activities going on there. And Slow Roll will be handing out its season schedules and have a selection of their own merch there.

The ride will be about ten minutes, and it’s paced for riders of all degrees of experience and skill — kids as well. Make sure your bike is in good condition and ready to ride! You can also register once for the entire season. Go here.
