It’s All About Blues, Bikes & BBQ at Free Rock Hall Concert

Thu 8/16 @ 5-9PM

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s plaza is one of the coldest locations in Cleveland during the winter months. So the Rock Hall is milking summer for all it’s worth with event after event.

Blues, Bikes & BBQ is yet another free event featuring live blues and roots rock from New York’s JD & the Straight Shot, along with openers the Wonderful Winos, on the PNC Main Stage. JD is Jim Dolan and he’s backed by a team of experienced musicians who have played with artists such as B.B King, Robert Plant, Dolly Parton, Rod Stewart, Sheryl Crow and Kenny Chesney. Wonderful Winos is the New Jersey of Gary Cavico and Vini Lopez; Lopez was the drummer for the E Street Band on Bruce Springsteen’s first two albums.

You can park your bike next to the plaza for free, and there will be cash prizes in categories such as Best Paint Job, Hardest Rockin’ Bike and others. You can arrive as early as 3 to get a good spot and register for the contests. There’ll be food and drink available for purchase. The concert doesn’t include admission to Rock Hall exhibits.
