“Summer’s here and the time is right for dancing in the streets!”
It’s a bold move: divert traffic and open up East 14th Street at Playhouse Square for a huge, citywide dance festival.
The American Dance Festival in CLE (7/29-8/5) will bring top name dance artists like Pilobolous, Raphael Xavier and Brian Brooks to the Ohio, State and Allen theatres.
Meanwhile, celebrating the National Day of Dance on Sat 7/29 takes over an entire downtown block, inviting Cleveland to join a mega-barre, local dance school showcases, a Dancing in the Streets event, and to cap it off, a Silent Disco Dance Party until 11PM. All free.
