Hey headbangers! Looking for a kick-ass metal show to liven up a Saturday night, with the added benefit of supporting one of the Cleveland music scene’s most valuable treasures, college radio?

Head on out to the Maple Grove Tavern in Maple Heights for the John Carroll University radio station WJCU 88.7FM’s Radiothon Benefit.

Live Evil (pictured) will be performing a special set honoring the late Ronnie James Dio, with material from all the legendary bands he sang with including Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Dio. Also on the bill are Vulgar Devils, featuring members of Destructor and Sparrowmilk, Hell and Back with former members of Sunless Sky, and the recently reunited Threefold Law. Chris Emig from Olathia hosts the evening.

Admission is $8, with all proceeds going toward WJCU’s operation expenses.
