The Honey Dewdrops Return to Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall With New Album

Fri 5/1 @ 7PM

The Honey Dewdrops — the husband-and-wife duo of Kagey Parrish and Laura Wortman — make music that manages to sound casually tossed-off and meticulously crafted at the same time. Playing guitars, banjo and mandolin, and twining their unadorned voices, they play folk/country/Americana music that’s both sparse and dynamic.

It’s been a while since they released a studio album. Their last, Silver Lining, came out in 2012. They’ve been busy doing some heavy touring in the last two years. But they finally wedged in some recording time and they’ll be arriving at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall for a show just ahead of the release (finally!) of their new album Tangled Country. So they’re calling it a CD release show and presumably will have copies available for the fans who come

Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
