Lac La Belle Joins Charlie Mosbrook at Euclid City Limits

LacLaBelle

Fri 2/13 @ 8PM

Cleveland folk performer Charlie Mosbrook has just released a brand new album A Long Time Gone, which you’ll surely want to check out. He’s one of the area’s most authentic and gifted singer-songwriters.

He’s also an enthusiastic supporter of other artists, as the long cast list on his new album makes clear. He was recently elected president of Cleveland acoustic music nonprofit Folknet, and he’s been the force behind numerous open mic nights.

Fresh off his CD release show at the Barking Spider, he’ll be sharing the stage at acoustic venue Euclid City Limits with Detroit duo Lac La Belle. Jennie Knaggs ad Nick Schillace play multiple instruments including banjo, ukulele, mandolin, accordion and guitar and blend their voices in original songs that tap into traditional American music roots while telling timeless stories in their lyrics. Their third album, A Friend Too Long, released last year, demonstrates how they absorb old-time musical influences to produce music that sounds natural and unforced.

Admission is $7.
