Does your sweetheart find traditional Valentine’s Day dates boring and corny? Well, how about taking him/her to the Beachland Ballroom for the 4th annual Sweetheart Showcase hosted by Le Femme Mystique Burlesque?
More and more Clevelanders are becoming dyed-in-the-wool fans of this reviving form of performance art, in large part thanks to the efforts of Le Femme Mystique founder Bella Sin. She networks like crazy and discovers talented and exciting performers she brings in for her shows. So in addition to seeing the regulars, you’ll always see someone new and terrific.
Le Femme Mystique’s in-house hostess, the dryly humorous and very British Abby Downtown, will preside over a show that will feature Apathy Angel (pictured) and Ruby Solitarie from New York City, and Lilly Rascal from Chicago, along with local performers Doll Bambino, Eliza Sidecar, Mahsitti Jade, Sable Champagne, and of course Bella herself, who’s likely to have a spectacular new costume and routine. She always surprises and amazes.
This mostly seated show is $17 in advance, $20 at the door.
