An Evening of Downhome Music @Mahalls20Lanes

Fri 8/15 @ 9PM

Tremont-based acoustic string quartet  the Luckey Ones began playing their old-timey country music  — or “boxcar country blues” as they call it — in the neighborhood, places like Visible Voice Books and Edison’s Pub. But they’ve expanded their range to other parts of the area now, such as Mahall’s in Lakewood.

They’ll be joined there by Toledo’s Boudreaux’s Back Porch, whose name evokes their sound. Like the Luckey Ones, they are four guys with (mostly) string instruments creating a shack-in-the-woods kind of sound.
