EdgewaterPark

Cleveland has access to its lakefront — it’s called Edgewater Park.

This state park is divided into two sections: Upper Edgewater and Lower Edgewater. The upper part features a massive pavilion, a statue of Conrad Mizar, the oldest monument in Cleveland, and plenty of picnics tables offering the best views of downtown, sailboat races and sunsets.

Lower Edgewater is most notable for its beach, complete with picnic shelters, restrooms and concessions. Also: walk along the pier to gaze into the lake and take in that gorgeous downtown view. Got a boat? Launches are available.
