The Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education (NOCHE) is hosting a special event on careers in arts & culture for college students and recent graduates. One day. Two events.
At noon, NOCHE will host a roundtable discussion among Northeast Ohio employers, faculty, and higher education administrators exploring industry trends and the need for and supply of talent within the region’s arts and culture organizations. Guest moderator for this discussion is Tom Schorgl, President and CEO of the Community Partnership for Arts & Culture (CPAC).
From 2 to 5 p.m., NOCHE will host a “Linking Talent to Opportunity” career fair and networking event where organizational representatives and college students/recent graduates will meet face-to-face about internships, careers, and volunteer opportunities in the arts and culture sector.
Participating organizations include: The Cleveland Orchestra,The Children’s Museum of Cleveland, Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, Shaker Historical Society, Prelude2Cinema, International Women’s Air & Space Museum, Gray’s Auctioneers, Community Partnership for Arts & Culture (CPAC), Esperanza, Inc., James A. Garfield National Historic Site, CBC Magazine/Contempo Communications, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Museum of Contemporary Art – MOCA,Dru Christine Fabrics & Design, YMCA of Greater Cleveland, Lake Erie Ink, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, Salem Communications – Cleveland, Great Lakes Science Center, Brecksville Center for the Arts, Rebecca Adele PR & Events, Wizard of Ahs and Porthouse Theatre.
Free and open to all. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Be sure to bring plenty of copies of your resume.
