When the Clifton Diner moved a few blocks west on Clifton across the border into Lakewood in 2018, Landmark moved into its old space, which it completely renovated and enlarged. It now offers “fine casual dining,” meaning that patrons order at the counter and seat themselves, but the food is delivered to your table and it’s many, many cuts above fast food.
Landmark’s menu features fresh items made from scratch for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And don’t let its designation as a “smokehouse” scare you off if you have vegetarian or vegan friends or family: they do that too. But for the meat eaters, they’ll be delighted with what comes out of the wood-fired smoker: beef brisket, pulled pork, turkey breasts, ribs. There’s a bar as well, serving a short list of wines, cocktails and beers.
