Cleveland, We Love You: A celebration of Cle film

Thu 9/6 @ 6pm

Cleveland, We Love You is a celebration of Cleveland film held at — where else? — the Capitol Theatre. Get your tickets now for the gala complete with cocktails and presentation from those responsible for Cleveland, I Love You, the largest film project ever shot by local filmmakers.

About the project: Cleveland, I Love You started as a simple idea: Local filmmakers Eric Swinderman and Mark Pengryn wanted to produce a film that showcased the talented writers, directors and actors that currently call or previously called Cleveland home.

The end result was a collaboration of nearly a dozen of the city’s most acclaimed writers and directors. The film is comprised of 11 vignettes about love: an old war hero defends the honor of a long-lost love; a man’s sordid past comes to light in the midst of a perfect date; a recently separated paramedic gets more than he bargains for when he is thrust in the middle of a domestic dispute; a desperate man employs his friends in an elaborate scheme to meet the girl of his dreams; the greatest gift one man can give his country comes at great cost … there are thousands of stories of love, lust, loss and despair all over Cleveland — these are just a few of them.
