Born in Germany and raised in DC, Meshell Ndegeocello is a well-rounded and extremely talented singer/songer-writer and, lucky for us, the Rock Hall is bringing her in for Black History Month. Meshell Ndegeocello is known for diversity throughout her music and lyrics that challenge her listeners. She’s already played alongside the Rolling Stones, Madonna, and Alanis Morrisette.
