The Cleveland Photographic Society is turning 125! Think about that for a minute… 125 years is a long time to be around. And, as part of their 125th Anniversary Celebration, one of the members is organizing a Photo Scavenger Hunt in downtown Cleveland. Hundreds of photos were taken in the area bounded by the River, the Lake, East 18th Street and Carnegie Avenue. These images will be posted to the CPS website in batches, encouraging people to go around & duplicate the images. Upload your images as you go. (iPhone app coming soon!)
And, to support and promote the contest (which will run from the time daylight savings begins until it ends – Sun 3/11 through Sun 11/4), CPS will be conducting open field trips once a month to visit all of the segments of the area encompassed by the contest. There is no fee to participate.
