
How walkable is Shaker Square? Is it more walkable than Lakewood, which, according to Walkscore.com, was listed as the most walkable city in Ohio? Shake Square residents say yes, their neighborhood is more walkable than Lakewood. The listings at Walkscore.com go by city and, since Shaker Square is part of Cleveland, the neighborhood is lumped with all of Cleveland. Cleveland’s walk score is 58, whereas Lakewood’s is 69. But, if you enter individual addresses you can determine the average for a Cleveland neighbrohood. Shaker Square folks did this & averaged their score to 82 — which is above Lakewood.
