Light up one of the darkest days of the year by attending Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association’s Festival of Lights event celebrating cultures from around the world. Take a candlelit stroll through the quiet winter woods & dine in a pine adorned dining hall.
The scoop:
This event highlights the traditions of various cultures and seasonal days of celebration during the month of December and on the winter solstice. Dine in our cozy, pine adorned dining hall and take a stroll through candle lit woods sampling the holiday traditions! You will be treated to a warm feast catered by Executive Chef Larkin Rogers. The stroll through Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center’s campus will educate you on seasonal days of celebration as volunteers and staff provide information, demonstrations, crafts, and desserts. Cultures being observed include Christmas, Bodhi Day, Kwanzaa, Choimus, Hanukkah, St. Lucia’s Day, and the Yule Log.
