“Stridin’ With Biden” Walks in Strongsville & Shaker Square Show Suburban Support

Sat 10/10 @ 2PM

Those of you on the left may have been watching the boat and truck parades for the incumbent president, marked by humungous flags and a surfeit of testosterone that caused large boats to sink smaller boats in their wakes on Austin’s Lake Travis a few weeks ago, and you’re shaking your head.

Maybe you’d like to show your support for Joe Biden, albeit with markedly less belligerence. Come on down to Strongsville Commons on Saturday October 10 and join like-minded folks from Berea, Strongsville, Parma, Middleburg Heights and more — all supporters are invited — for “Stridin’ With Biden.” There will be some remarks by local speakers followed by a short, friendly walk in downtown Strongsville.

Wear a mask and bring your Biden signs — and if someone drives by with one of those giant MAGA flags, just smile and ignore them. “Let’s counter the Trump campaign’s suburban fear mongering with hopeful images of our own,” say the organizers.

Similar events are supposed to be taking place in suburbs around Ohio so Google to see if there’s one closer to you. There’s also one on the east side in Shaker Heights starting at Shaker Square at 2pm. These suburban moms aren’t afraid of Cory Booker showing up. If he did, they’d just hand him the mic!
