VIDEO: CLE Filmmaker Robert Banks Needs Your Help with New Project “Paper Shadows”

Sat 8/30

He’s going all out for his last production! Cleveland based filmmaker Robert Banks is pulling out all of the stops with his “supposedly” last, and most recent project: “Paper Shadows.” The feature length film will be about the struggles artists face living in midwestern towns, like Cleveland. It will all be shot on 35mm B&W Film using anamorphic optics for the 2:35.1 aspect ratio for presentation.

CoolCleveland Correspondent Marty Bielat met up with Banks and discussed the film. Banks described how, along with shooting the film, he is actively teaching interns throughout the production process. The project still needs plenty of funding, which led Banks to create a Kickstarter Campaign so supporters can donate by Mon 9/15.
