Music for Miles @WaterlooArts features Trillium Trio

MusicForMiles

Sun 5/8 @ 4PM

The Music for Miles concert series at Waterloo Arts, named after the late Waterloo Road revival pioneer Miles Kennedy, concludes its 2015-2016 season with its annual family-friendly Mother’s Day concert with the all-female Trillium Trio.

The three musicians — flutist Gayle Getts, clarinetist Emily Lada and bassoonist Lydia Byndas — will perform music by some very popular composers, Mozart, Bach and Beethoven, along with even more popular Disney movie music and what they describe as “some fun music related to the current events going on in our fabulous city of Cleveland.” Does the RNC have a theme song?

Guests can also browse the artwork by Lane Cooper currently showing in the gallery or have some food from the Callaloo Café next door. The casual concerts provide a chance for the audience to chat with the musicians as well. It’s free and open to the public.
