The annual two-day Tremont Arts & Cultural Festival in Lincoln Park got a heavy dose of rain Saturday. But those attending got to enjoy international dance and diverse music performances, lots of food and artists and craftspeople showing off an array of wares. Making its debut this year was the special Collect Tremont gallery, a collection of tents showing off the work of 18 artists who live, work or have galleries in the neighborhood. It provided a powerful visual reminder that the community harbors an outstanding group of artists with national and international reputations — well worth collecting.
