Sun 9/13 @ 4PM

Nan and Miles Kennedy were pioneers in the revival of North Collinwood’s Waterloo Road. Miles passed away in 2011, and now his memory is honored with Music for Miles, a series of intimate monthly free concerts at Waterloo Arts.

This season’s Music for Miles opens with a performance by the Cleveland Percussion Project, an expanded version of Duo Anime that now features four percussionists: Andrew Pongracz, Bruce Golden, Dylan Moffitt and Luke Rinderknecht. The quartet will play a variety of instruments including xylophone, vibes, marimba, tom toms, glockenspiel, temple blocks and some that are hard to describe.

There will be a long intermission for what’s described as “kid-friendly musical activity,” as well as the consumption of cupcakes. Callaloo Cage next door will be open, serving its Caribbean food and beverages for adults. Bring the whole family!
