Cleveland’s Get Hep Swing promotes regular swing dances all over greater Cleveland. But its Big Band Holiday Dance at the Music Box Supper Club should be something really special.
It’ll feature tireless Cleveland-based, internationally noted recording artist, jazz sax man Ernie Krivda with his 19-piece Fat Tuesday Big Band. It’s one of several formats he works in, bringing back the era when big band jazz was the pop music of its time, packing dance floors across the country.
The group will play two sets — you’ll have time to rest and try one of the Music Box’s signature cocktails or something from it menu. Come at 7pm for a dance lesson if you don’t feel confident on the floor. The band starts at 8.
Admission is $10.
