I don’t know how hung over you have to be to enjoy Cleveland’s ’80s indie-scene darlings Death of Samantha, who have been reuniting for gigs here and there in the last couple of years. But they are calling their post-Christmas show at the Beachland Ballroom “A Holiday Hangover.”
Come down and see singer John Petkovic, currently with Cobra Verde, strut his rock star stuff and maybe even wear a crazy vintage shirt no one else could carry off. The music? It’s faintly glammy, post-punk rock, neither as esoteric nor as offputting as it once might have seemed.
Also on the bill are Cleveland’s tough, terse underground rockers Founding Fathers and musical/comedian from New York Dave Hill.
Admission is $12.
