PHOTOSTREAM: Cleveland Flea Holiday Market

Sat 11/22-Sun 11/23

The monthly Cleveland Flea again moved to “activate vacant space,” at they put it, moving indoors for their two-day holiday market to two empty floors of an office building off E. 65th and Carnegie. The packed event was such a success that by noon Saturday there was a line outside waiting to get in as people left.

Food vendors filled the second floor with festive treats ranging from gingerbread houses to chocolates to pierogies. Upstairs on the fourth floor were the artists, craftspeople and collectibles dealers with plenty of gift items for any type of person you could think of. Offerings were heavy on vintage Christmas decorations, primarily from the mid-20th century and with so many vendors featuring holiday-related items, the floor had a very festive atmosphere. Few people were leaving empty-handed.

The outdoor Flea resumes in April. It is sponsoring a Maker Holiday Market 12/12-14 at the Nash in Slavic Village.
