This Moment in Black History have been kicking around the scene for over a decade, although they were relatively inactive for several years. Not so now; they are kicking and howling and shaking things up around town with their relentless music.
Banging Fragiles and Likenesses are both fairly new to local clubs, although they contain members who have been stalwarts in the scene. The three-year-old Banging Fragiles attack poppy melodies with their noisy, garage-y rock and fractures them. Likenesses, who debuted a year ago summer and instantly attracted a lot of believers, go for the pop side of rock lilting and swaying their way into listeners’ hearts.
