There are few gallery spaces in Cleveland lovelier than Tregoning & Company on the ground floor of the 78th Street Studios. There’s a peaceful spaciousness to the room that enhances the fine art Bill Tregoning hangs on his walls. And it’s also provided a space for events of various kinds including, most appropriately, concerts.
So it should be a nice, mellow Tuesday evening when local acoustic guitar wizard Brian Henke plays at the gallery. Henke left rock ’n’ roll behind many years ago to explore the nuances of his instrument in a solo context, playing instrumental music that’s got a bit of classical, a bit of folk, a bit of new age in it with influences garnered from nature. It should be a nice match for the Cleveland school paintings currently showing in the gallery.
Admission is $15 at the door.
